HOW TO USE THE CREATIVE STORIES AND
DRAMATIZATIONS:
With each dramatic story, exaggerate by
tone and facial expressions.
Put your hand over the student's hand and point to the letter, or
letters, that the drama emphasizes
Use the letters supplied as manipulatives. Otherwise make or
purchase your own.
At no time should the student be allowed to have wandering eyes,
or mind, during the time of the storytelling.
STORIES AND DRAMATIZATIONS
OF ALPHABET LETTER NAMES:
Using dramatic exaggeration, relate the following stories as the student points to the letters emphasized.

Peeee-ople just love pizza! (Say peeeeeet-sa!) Pete (Peeeeeete)
loves Pizza too. Pete cuts his pizza into six pieces (say peeee
sez) because he wants to share. Peeeeee-ople love Pete!
Qq
Q is a cutie pie! (Exaggerate cu!) Cutie Pie Q loves to fly.
Cutie Pie Q is a bird. (Make flying motions with your arms!) Fly
Cutie Pie Q! Fly into my hand, and eat some seed.
Rr
R R R R you all right? (Act like you have a headache.) R R you
hungry! (Pretend to be famished.) R you tired? (Yawn!)
