BELOW ARE THE DAILY PLANS FOR THE TWELTH WEEK

FINISHING UP...

Schedule A

Time: One half hour to Two hours per session each day depending on student's ability to focus EXCEPT on Sunday when you may decide to modify the schedule because of the day's activities.

Sessions: As many as it takes to cover the material. Each project (songs, games, other activities) should take a minimum of twenty minutes to accomplish

Rewards: Should not be necessary on this schedule but if it becomes necessary rewards should follow the sessions and be given only if the student assumed proper responsibility in his or her assignments

Monday
Dictate all the long vowels several times!
Review all the

Saturday Review the dictation for the week. Mix up dictation. Spend lots of time in dictation!

songs. Remember to refer to the Handwriting Tutorial.

Sunday Evaluate your lessons.
Does your student need more review? If so, go back and review previous lessons and keep studying what has been presented until your student is ready to proceed.
Then go to the bottom of the menu to the link which locates the tests to Step One. Give the tests, correct them with your student and go over the errors. When you are sure your student is well prepared to advance to the next level, please email us at freephonics@juno.com for the final test instructions. Please put REQUEST FOR FINAL TEST INSTRUCTIONS in the subject of your email.

REMEMBER

  1. All the tests must be completed before requesting Step Two. See the link at the bottom of the menu.
  2. Please do NOT present the lesson until you feel satisfied that you understand it yourself!
  3. Look over all of your lesson ahead of time.
  4. Spend lots of time in dictation.
  5. Dictate in proper order: Long and Short Vowels, Words, Sentences.
  6. Do not Dictate the second part without the first part.
  7. Do not Dictate the third part without the first and second part.
  8. Do not Dictate the fourth part without the first, second and third part.
  9. Dictate in proper order and REVIEW daily!
  10. Don't skip any part your lesson.
